Hair care! Do's and Dont's - Its not always puberty!

Hair care Transformation! Do's and Dont's

Hi to all! how are you? ... good?... great?.... Good! that is  what i like to hear!.. thought i'd do something on my hair care and what i do in order too maintain my frustrating, hard to manage half the time admired long hair! ... so leh go!..

You probably think that for me too have long hair i probably use no hair products, no heat , no hair dye , no bleach...just let it go cut it often like your meant too be ....ummm .. NO! haha i do the complete opposite to all of them!  well i make sure i follow the healthy hair  guideline!, but what girl likes too never do anything with their hair?! we all do!

I was always that kid that wanted too change their hair colour again .. and again ... and again... so i did! haha , i  started off with different hair dyes, then started learning about my good old friend BLEACH! so i slapped that on my hair aswell and got highlights , low lights, got my entire hair bleached before cause i have dark dark dark brown hair not JET BLACK! so it takes alot for any colour too pick up and if your like me and like dyeing your hair , the hair will not pick up any light colours or any colour in this case if your dark haired so yeah i had too strip off  the colour in order for it too get it the colour i desire! if you follow me on instagram then you would know i recently got my hair dyed  but at the salon not at home...more damage too the hair! just adding too the list cause it wasn't as long as it was now was it?!...

Heres some photos from the past of my hair dyed in different colours  and bottom right just before i dyed my hair too the colour it is now which is below that
Before

how my hair is now! (i apologise for the awkward hand poze)

After hair dye

Once you've dyed your hair their will be a conditioner inside the package now this conditioner is amazing agreed? it makes the hair soft and silky and not forgetting the smell, but why do they provide it? only too make it smell nice , feel soft?.... nope so it goes back to its normal pH balance, which i will not get into too much technical details with but lets just say  the hair dye is a coating above the hair so the damage caused by it which makes the hair frizzy etc it returns it back too its normal hair state so it can be managed after that and wont start splitting but is that it? ....

After care .....

use protection ... not that sort of protection... heat defence duhh is that what you were thinking? reallyyy?..

Once ive dyed my hair ...i have  noticed that using heat just adds too the damage cause the hair is so delicate at that point because its being stripped from its original colour so once that heat touches your hair and yanks on it .... the nightmare starts! split ends  then you need to start chopping more hair off than you should so try avoiding heat and if you are using heat on your your common sense use heat defence any would do the job cause we all like flaunting our new hair! but trust me it will help in the long run give it a week  too settle until then use non heat styles such as putting your hair up in plaits over night and removing them in the morning and you have amazing beach curls!
i didnt like tight curls so i let them loose after leaving plaits over night and this is how it was the day after

 Hair Serum

Once you've straightened your hair or don't want too use heat and have frizzy hair then add some hair serum on the hair its a oily but shiny texture , a small pump and go through your hair , it will make your hair manageable!

like this! serum adds shine and makes the hair look healthy effortlessly! it also helps in growth!
Greasy? but healthy!
Now alot of you may say ew i dont want greasy hair etc etc , hair oil helps keep it over night or a day and put your hair a bun , the hair oil will help the hair grow with all the ingredients added  inside it , Argon oil is an affordable and good oil too just put through the hair  abit if your not wanting crazy greasy hair
use abit on the scalp and end of the hair

Almond oil found any hair care shop, Almond oil is a rich source of magnesium which is used in a variety of hair products. Deficiency of magnesium can result in heavy hair fall. Apply almond oil once or twice a week to moisturise the scalp. This reduces hair fall and improves hair quality. After massaging, soak a towel in hot water and wrap your hair with it. This ensures better absorption of the oil. got it? good now try it and see the difference !

All over the hair and keep it over night then wash it whenever you want!

Styling clips
be careful how you remove any hair bands or clips , they grip onto the hair firmly and can easily damage the hair when  being took out. Also ive stopped using the hair bobbles that have the metal piece on them as i noticed everytime they would get caught onto my hair and when i removed it my hair would get caught in them some how and i ended up with a bunch of hair on the bobble so i started buying metalless bobbles
like this!

Trim Trim Trim! orrrrrrrrr use hair masks

Get a inch or so trimmed of the hair  too get rid of the spilt ends i do that  every month not weekly  im not saying this is what is told too do but this is what i do  and it works for me!
I also use  a henna mask every 2 weeks found in a hair care shop again this is a conditioner made of henna leaves no  harsh chemicals helping split ends, damaged hair , bleached hair  IT WORKS WONDERS! and the results are soft silky hair smelling and looking  fresh! this is exactly how it looks!
leave this in after using your desired shampoo , stay in the bath with it if you can so the heat  formed in the room can help the henna absorb into the hair and deeply treat the hair!

we all started somewhere ....
started from the bottom !

now we here! haha

i hope this post helped in anyway possible! its not the end of the world unless you start taking care of your hair! give any of these a shot and let me no how it has went for you! or even if you enjoyed reading this post!  much love till my next post you amazingly good looking person reading this!
