Warm ups before you workout!

WARM UP BEFORE YOU WORK OUT  

Hi Guys! extremely sorry for the lack of posts!been managing with start of college and health! but anyways decided id get right into some of the warm ups i do as you no i workout at home so everything  i write about is done at home so if you dont want too go to gym and feel uncomfortable then you no what to do! make your own gym! 






















5 minutes total
30 seconds each
5 exercises i do add another 5 of your choice to make 5 minutes   
Knee touches 
This is one of my favourite warm ups which can also be used if the speed is increased as a workout great for the legs and stomach as when the knee touches the elbow the furthur the legs are apart the more the stomach will tense when the legs go up to touch your elbow! moving your arms side to side while the tips are touching together, 1,2,3 then on the fourth bring the opposite leg up to touch the opposite elbow then continue 1,2,3 then on the other side. continue doing so !


High knee pull ups
This warm up helps in all parts of the body to be stretched to workout and also can be used for a normal workout by increasing the speed or doing 3 high knee pull ups then on the fourth keeping the knee up for a couple of seconds and continuing.
Slow rocking butt kickers
It says alot in the name as you can see haha, so this exercise is where u relax the arms and crisscrossing your legs one at a time making sure it hits the back of your butt as this will mean you get a full stretch on the legs.
Kick ups 
When carrying out this exercise take your time kicking up as a fast reaction could result in pulling a muscle. step then kick to the opposite direction  visa versa it can take a while getting use to this particular exercise i think cause lifting my leg up to kick that high was impossible! so when kicking i realised a good trick when kicking twist your waist front alittle this helps keep your arms in a defending position so theres more force when you kick up this helps the stomach tense and leg

Lateral steps and pulls
The pictures say alot on what to do this is a fun and heart pumping warm up or if you like  slow and easy do as many lateral steps as you can this works on the stomach when pushing down with your hands as well as stretching the arms and legs.
